Kilmarnock unable to afford Alan Gow


Kilmarnock manager Mixu Paatelainen believes his club does not have the finance to beat Scottish Premier League side St Mirren to Alan Gow's signature.

Buddies boss Danny Lennon said at the weekend he hoped to tie up the forward after his release by Plymouth Argyle.

Reports followed that rival clubs were now in the frame for the 27-year-old.

"I haven't mentioned him to anyone or spoken to the player - as far as I'm concerned, we can't afford money to bring him here," said Paatelainen.

Alan Gow zu teuer für Killie... deswegen wird er wohl zu St Mirren wechseln.

Kilmarnock are hoping to sign former Wolves striker Cedric Roussel on a free transfer after he left Coventry but have also taken former Nancy frontman Basile Camerling on trial. (Various)

Der Roussel scheint sogar gut zu sein :o

Kilmarnock capture Aston Villa striker on loan

Kilmarnock have agreed a deal to sign striker Harry Forrester from Aston Villa on loan until January.

Killie manager Mixu Paatelainen hopes to have the player available to feature in Saturday's Scottish Premier League game against Aberdeen.

"We have agreed everything with Aston Villa to bring Harry Forrester on loan," Paatelainen said......

Er war in Finnland halber Saison und jetzt geht zu Euch

Klasse Transfer für Killie...was manchmal diesselbe Nationalität doch Wunder wirkt... ;)

Jamie Moffat helps reduce Kilmarnock debt

Former Kilmarnock chairman Jamie Moffat has written off half of the £1.8m debt owed to him by the Rugby Park club.

And present chairman Michael Johnston hopes the move will encourage others to invest in the Ayrshire outfit.

"Over my five years as chairman, debt has now been reduced by almost £2.5m," said Johnston.
