Juande Ramos is on the brink of quitting Spurs, less than a year after taking over as boss.
The Spanish coach and his family are struggling to settle in England and Ramos has told close friends he is homesick.

Ramos überdenke demnach derzeit seine Situation in England. Er und seine Familie seien nicht richtig angekommen, er denke daher darüber nach, sich wieder einen Job in Spanien zu suchen.
Wahrscheinlicher dürfte sein, dass er den Verantwortlichen vielleicht zuvorkommen möchte.

Tottenham manager Juande Ramos says he does not believe his job is under threat after the club's worst start to a season for 53 years.
Ramos was the target of angry Spurs fans during his side's 2-0 defeat by Portsmouth - which has left them with just two points from six games.
But asked if he had the confidence of his chairman and board, the Spaniard said: "Absolutely.
"We speak regularly and everyone is aware of our delicate position."
Ramos added: "Whether I survive is something for the chairman and the board to decide but I'm not hurt (by the fans' abuse). What hurts is not winning matches."

Le club anglais de Tottenham, coaché par l'Espagnol Juande Ramos, vit le pire début de saison de son histoire depuis 53 ans et ce malgré un excellent recrutement effectué. Le point faible de Tottenham est l'attaque, qui n'a pu remplacer Dimitar Berbatov parti à Manchester United tandis que Roman Pavlyuchenko n'est pas au top de sa forme. Le Daily Mail nous indique aujourd'hui que si Juande Ramos ne redresse pas la barre d'ici à 4 matches, il sera remercié. L'actuel propriétaire des Spurs, Daniel Levy, aurait déjà le nom du successeur de l'ancien coach du FC Séville. Les Londoniens penseraient à faire revenir Jurgen Klinsmann à White Hart Lane en disgrâce avec le Bayern Munich qui n'occupe que la 9e place de Bundesliga. Tout devrait être accéléré en cas de contre-performance des Bavarois contre Lyon en C1.
Laut Daily Mail hat Juande Ramos noch vier Spiele Zeit, das Ruder herumzureißen. Ansonsten steht ihm die Entlassung bevor. Die Spurs denken über eine Rückkehr von Jürgen Klinsmann an die White Hart Lane nach, der bei den Bayern nach dem aktuellen 9. Platz in der BuLi in der Kritik steht.

Ramos holte zwar im Februar den Ligapokal, konnte aber seitdem nur drei von 18 Meisterschaftsspielen gewinnen. Aus dem Stillstand ist nach dem Abgang der Leistungsträger Dimitar Berbatow (Manchester United) und Robbie Keane (Liverpool) für insgesamt 64 Millionen Euro ein echter Absturz geworden.
Es wird auf jeden Fall immer enger Für Ramos.

The Club can announce that Damien Comolli, Sporting Director, Juande Ramos, Head Coach and First Team Coaches, Marcos Alvarez and Gus Poyet, have left the Club, with immediate effect.
Damit kann das dann wohl geschlossen werden. Als Nachfolger ist laut einer anderen Stellungnahme von offizieller Site wohl Pompey-Coach Harry Redknapp im Gespräch.
